Nuyorican Poets Soiree was started in 2000, back when the internet was unknown to question writers, Google was in beta, and the World Trade Center was still prominent on New York’s skyline. In 2002 NPS merged with Traveling by Midget, the cleverly named band of dwarf-herders.
